ACE Prep Courses
Get Prepped, Pass the Test.
If you are looking to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer or ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, let UREC prepare you. This 10-week course combines hands on learning and classroom teaching that will prepare you to take the final exam at the end of the course.
This course is available to all LSU students who want to become a Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor. Once students complete the certification, we encourage you to apply at UREC but completing the certification does not guarantee employment with us.
Current LSU UREC student employees are eligible for student development funding who want to become a certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor.

What's Included
Course registration fee includes
- 10+ hours of classroom lecture
- 10+ hours of hands on mock client or mock class scenarios and assessments
- Chapter study guides
- Weekly practice quizzes
- Guidance on how to schedule and take the exam.
How to Register
Students interested in taking the course are asked to send a completed application to the email address located on the bottom of the registration form. Applicants will receive an email with the status of their application within a week of the first class.
