A Watershed Effort
In February 2022, LSU, Our Lady of the Lake Health, and LCMC Health announced a watershed effort to transform patient care and the workforce pipeline, charting a new course for the future of Louisiana and the well-being of Louisianans. The focus of these solutions-driven investments in LSU – $170 million by Our Lady of the Lake Health and $75 million by LCMC Health – is elevation and integration: elevating quality of education, research, healthcare, and athletics programs and integrating impact, capacity, and opportunity.
The Our Lady of the Lake Health Interdisciplinary Science Building
Our Lady of the Lake Health and LCMC Health have invested $15 million and $10 million, respectively, to construct a world-class waypoint for scientific inquiry, discovery, and collaboration.
