Building Louisiana’s Nursing & Allied Health Pipeline

LCMC Health is investing $10 million to develop an LSU scholarship fund focused on addressing nursing and allied health workforce needs in Louisiana. Spanning two campuses, this portion of the gift will establish a pathway program that supports future nurses at all stages of their education: $8.6 million will benefit the School of Nursing at LSU Health New Orleans and $1.4 million benefiting the pre-nursing program on LSU’s flagship campus in Baton Rouge.
