Roommate Resources
During the first few weeks of classes, you should complete a roommate agreement and revisit it as the relationship with your roommate grows. Talking about expectations and concerns before they develop into conflict and being willing to compromise help pave the way for successful relationships.
If at anytime you are in danger or unsafe, please contact LSU Police immediately. Hall front desks are open or have on-call phone numbers posted to contact on-call staff as needed too.
Escalate your roommate concern to your professional staff member (RC) if your attempts at conflict resolution are unsuccessful.
If you want to change rooms, submit your request in the housing portal.
Complete the room change request form in the housing portal.
Room changes are generally frozen the first two weeks of classes each semester.
