We Moved!
We are excited to announce that the Pinkie Gordon Lane Graduate School has moved from David Boyd to 124 Hatcher Hall.
Our new space in Hatcher Hall will serve as the primary location for all Graduate School services, including Admissions, Academic Services, Documents & Records, Financial Operations, and Student Success. Additional updates will be shared soon, but for now, if you plan to visit us in person, please be sure to come to Hatcher Hall moving forward.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this transition. We look forward to welcoming everyone into this new space and continuing to support our graduate students throughout their academic careers at LSU!

Graduation Workshop for On-Campus Students
For students graduating in Summer and Fall 2026
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, our Academic Services team is hosting for all LSU Online students who are graduating in Summer or Fall 2026.
This workshop will be held in 143 Coates Hall from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and they will review all information related to graduation paperwork, important deadlines, and more.

Write On! Summer 2026 Cohort
Applications are now open for the Summer 2026 cohort of Write On!, the Pinkie Gordon Lane Graduate School’s interdisciplinary writing group program designed to help graduate students stay motivated, accountable, and productive throughout the summer.
Whether you are working on a thesis or dissertation, revising a manuscript, preparing for exams, drafting a proposal, or building a more consistent writing routine, Write On! provides dedicated writing time, structure, and community support to help you make progress on your goals.
Groups are available from May 25 – August 6 during the following times:
- Mondays: 12–3 p.m. (In Person)
- Tuesdays: 5–7 p.m. (Virtual)
- Thursdays: 9 a.m.–12 p.m. (In Person)
Program Details:
- Open to all LSU graduate students (master’s and doctoral; online and in-person)
- Free to participate
- Weekly participation encouraged throughout the summer
