How to Apply | International Services

Prospective Students

Welcome to Louisiana State University and the International Services Office (ISO)!

How to Apply

The first step to becoming an LSU student is to apply for academic admission.

Undergraduate Students

To view the admission requirements for a bachelor's degree program and access the admissions application, visit the International Admissions website.

Any questions regarding the undergraduate application or admission requirements should be directed to International Admissions at intrntladm@lsu.edu.

Graduate Students

The Graduate School is separate from undergraduate admissions and receives and reviews all of its own application materials. Individual academic departments may have additional requirements for specific master's or doctoral programs.

Graduate applicants undergo a two-step process:

  1. Accepted by an academic department
  2. Officially admitted by the Graduate School

If you have any questions regarding the graduate application or admission requirements, contact the Graduate School at gradadmission@lsu.edu.

Exchange Students

You may be able to participate in a semester- or year-long exchange program if LSU is a partner of your home university. If you are interested in such a program, contact the study abroad office at your university.

LSU Online Students

LSU offers a number of fully online programs, allowing you to work toward earning an LSU degree from wherever you may be in the world. To learn more about the online programs that are currently being offered, visit LSU Online.

Note: LSU online degree programs do not allow for F-1 or J-1 sponsorship.

Next Steps
