Confidential Supporters
LSU is committed to providing confidential resources to the campus community to explore resources and reporting options. To meet students and employees where they are, Confidential Supporters have been identified across campus. A Confidential Supporter is a faculty or staff member who receives additional training each year to support students and employees who experience sexual violence or power-based violence. Confidential Supporters are not required to report to the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX but can assist in identifying resources and help walk students and employees through their rights and options.
Sharalle Arnold
Sharalle Arnold is a student affairs practitioner with a tenure that expands a decade. She studied at California State University, Chico and obtained a master’s degree in education from Washington State University. She has held various leadership roles in higher education including, directorships in TRIO and early childhood and as an Associate Director of the Center for Women and Gender Equity at her last intuition. Each role has allowed her to develop & strengthen her advocacy arm with issues impacting student success. Additionally, she has served as a victim advocate and supporter for Title IX with student conduct. Her research interest focuses on Black women's simultaneous invisibility and hyper-visibility. Sharalle has served as the Director of the LSU African American Cultural Center since Fall 2023.

Sarah Becker
Sarah Becker is an Associate Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Sociology, Affiliate Faculty in African and African American Studies, Interim Chair of African and African-American Studies (2022-2023), and Director of the Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership. She is advisor to Tigers Against Sexual Assault (TASA) and to the National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS) and places great emphasis on supporting students in all aspects of her work at LSU.

Trina Biswas
Trina Biswas is a Senior Instructor and the Director of Undergraduate Studies & Research
in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness. She completed her M.S.
in Economics and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics at LSU after moving to the United
States in 2010. Trina is a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA)
advocate and loves working with students. She currently serves as a co-advisor for
the Tigers for Cultivating Change (TCC) Club, is a Safe Space member, and is GRACE-trained.
Trina has served as an LSU Lighthouse advocate, and she is also a two-time Diversity
& Inclusion Champion for the LSU College of Agriculture. In her free time, she loves
learning new languages and working on her photography skills.

Louise Bodack
Louise Bodack’s hometown is Yonkers, NY and she has lived in various places, including Florida, Massachusetts and Maine. Prior to her arrival at LSU, she taught college chemistry and co-chaired the Health Professions Advisory Committee. While in undergraduate, she was on the golf team. In her spare time, she loves to garden, as evidence by the numerous plants in her office as well as cook. She is passionate about working with students and seeing them succeed. She currently serves as the Director of Student Affairs in the Academic Center for Student-Athletes.

Amy Cave
Amy Cancienne Cave is an Academic Counselor with the University College – Center for Freshman Year. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication, Master of Library and Information Science, and Master of Social Work from LSU. Amy is a LMSW working toward the LCSW. She loves working with students and watching them grow independently. Amy is a proud mom of two sons and one daughter all in college. John Fletcher
John Fletcher is the Billy J. Harbin Associate Professor of Theatre at Louisiana State University, where he teaches theatre history, theory, and literature to undergrads and grad students. He has published several articles and chapters as well as a monograph (Preaching to Convert: Evangelical Outreach and Performance Activism in a Secular Age, Michigan 2013); he is the present Editor for the academic journal Theatre Topics. Current research projects involve exploring depolarization strategies and researching good-faith and bad-faith communication in online performance. Beyond the University, Dr. Fletcher is a facilitator for the Dialogue on Race Louisiana and a moderator for Braver Angels, a grassroots national organization aiming to depolarize America. He teaches discipleship studies at University United Methodist Church, where he is active in moving the denomination toward a more LGBTQ-inclusive position.

Ginger Guttner
Ginger Guttner has been with the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine since 2004. In addition to her role as communications manager at LSU Vet Med, she is also an adjunct instructor at the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication. Catherine Jacquet
Cat Jacquet is a professor of History and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She studies histories of antirape activism and she volunteered as a rape victim advocate in Chicago in the early 2000s. She is a queer, antiracist feminist and she believes you.

Ashley Mack
Ashley Mack is an Associate Professor of Rhetoric & Cultural Studies in the Department of Communication Studies at Louisiana State University. Kristen Mauch
Kristen Mauch brings more than 13 years of experience helping students learn and thrive at LSU. As Associate Dean for the College of Art & Design, she serves as a resource for students navigating degrees in Art, Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture. She was recognized for her work advising students, earning the 2019 Communication Across the Curriculum (CxC) Outstanding Faculty Award. As a complement to her work at LSU, Kristen is also a founding member of Ripple Effect Water Literacy Project, an environmental education nonprofit that seeks to empower the next generation of water-literate leaders.

Bryan McCann
Bryan J. McCann is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies. Jade Ngo is a Coordinator of International Student Engagement at the International Cultural Center. She earned a Master of Arts in English with a focus in teaching English as a Second Language. Megan Ourso
Megan Ourso is a 2001 graduate of LSU and has a B.A. in Communication Disorders, a certification in Elementary Education, and a Masters of Education in School Counseling. Megan is an Academic Counselor in the College of Engineering. Before joining LSU, she was in Education for 21 years within the Diocese of Baton Rouge as both an elementary school teacher and a school counselor. She enjoys getting to know students and finds it rewarding to help students, whether it be to celebrate their highs or to help them navigate through their lows. It is important to Megan to be realistic with students while also helping them with advising a plan for moving forward. She enjoys being a sounding board and listener who is always willing to offer guidance as needed!

Aimee Self Pittman currently serves as the Reference and Legal Research Instruction Librarian at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center Library. She holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama and MLIS from LSU. In a previous role, Aimee provided legal representation to survivors of domestic violence as a Legal Services attorney. Summer Steib is Director of Student Engagement and Impact in the Division of Engagement, Civil Rights & Title IX. As part of her duties Steib serves on the University Council on Gender Equity, serves on the CARES team, is a member of the Pregnancy & Parenting Program committee, a confidential supporter, and is co-chair of the National Coalition Building Institute at LSU. Steib developed LSU's Bias Incident Response procedures and chaired the Bias Incident Resource Team from its creation in 2016 to June 2021. Clovier Torry
Clovier I. Torry currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Recruitment, Retention and Diversity programs for the Graduate School at LSU. She has served students at the Graduate School in different capacities for the past 28 years. Prior to coming to LSU she worked for both a newspaper and television station in Alexandria, Louisiana. Additionally, she has worked in state government in public relations and public policy.
